Advisory work grounded in running a business school, not observing one
Roger advises universities, business schools and professional education providers on programme development, academic quality, accreditation readiness and international partnerships. He has reviewed management programmes, departments and business schools externally, drawing on senior leadership responsibility for a multi-campus business school across two countries.

AI and professional education
How AI is changing management education
Roger is building a deeper practice in how AI is changing higher education and professional learning, especially at the interface of industry, business, AI and education. He presents this as a rapidly developing strand of his work rather than an established specialism, and deliberately so.
It rests on three foundations: advising AITSPIN, AIT’s professional postgraduate school for the AI era; work on AI-use policy, assessment design and evidence trails for transnational programmes; and formal study, currently under way through a PG Certificate in the Use of AI in Higher Education.
In practice this shapes programme and assessment design that assumes participants have AI tools available and asks what disciplined use looks like; teaching formats, such as live questioning and defended presentations, that cannot be outsourced to AI; and curriculum renewal for professional programmes in which AI capability is part of the domain.
AITSPIN is AIT’s professional postgraduate school for the AI era, combining domain expertise, human judgement, ethical responsibility, innovation and AI capability. Roger advises and contributes to programme and course development, international engagement and professional-education activities, including the PIN104 seminar series.
At AIT School of Management, Roger leads programme delivery and academic coordination across cohorts in Vietnam, covering curriculum, faculty, assessment, project supervision and quality assurance, alongside teaching on ESG, ethics, sustainability and scenario planning.
