About

From senior academic leadership to new forms of professional education

Roger Levermore's career has followed a single line: understanding complex environments, improving how decisions get made, and building learning experiences where people practise both.

Roger is an international academic leader, educator and programme developer with 25 years of experience across the UK and Asia. He is a former Dean and Vice President at the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT) in Bangkok, with earlier senior academic and programme leadership roles at The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST), The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) and the University of Liverpool.

His current work combines advisory activity with AITSPIN, leadership of the Professional Masters in ESG at AIT School of Management, executive education, doctoral supervision and the development of Praxis Sports College. Expertise spans ESG and sustainability, ethics and responsible leadership, strategy and scenario planning, decision-making, sports business and experiential learning.

Across each of those settings the emphasis has been the same: research-led but applied teaching, programmes designed around what participants must actually be able to do, and international partnerships that hold up to scrutiny. He is an award-winning teacher with a strong record in programme innovation and in translating complex ideas into applied learning experiences.

Previous titles matter here only as evidence. What they support is present capability: designing and teaching programmes for professional and executive audiences, advising institutions on academic quality and partnership, and supervising doctoral work.
